Meet the My Child, My Chance team
This project was born in Susan’s heart in 2015 and she has been joined along the way by Charlotte and Kim.
Susan Zuidema is an elementary school teacher in Ontario, Canada, a wife, and the mother of three. Susan is both deeply motivated and well-positioned to address the controversial 2015 Ontario Health and Physical Education curriculum. Compelled to speak the truth as found in God’s Word, she is also passionate about the people God created in His own image, particularly children. As such, she strives to live and write from the place where grace meets truth. Susan graduated in 1996 from the Moody Bible Institute (Chicago) with a BA in Evangelism and Discipleship and received her B.Ed. from Wilfrid Laurier University (Waterloo) in 2007.
Charlotte Goulding graduated from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2004. She has since split her time being a stay-at-home-mom and an employee in health care. Her knowledge of human health and anatomy, and her commitment to truth and knowledge of God’s Word has added valuable perspective and clarity to this project. Charlotte and her husband live in Newfoundland with their four children.
Kim Hanson has taught and directed children’s ministry for over ten years. She is passionate about families and growing kids in Christ. As a key contributor to Created for a Purpose, Kim is drawing on her extensive children’s ministry experience to design lessons that will help children understand who God made them to be. Kim and her husband have two active boys.
